I am a postdoctoral researcher in machine learning at MBZUAI, working with Assoc. Prof. Mingming Gong and Prof. Kun Zhang.
I received my PhD in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Melbourne (2025), fortunately advised by Mingming Gong (principal), Wei Huang, Xi Geng, and Biwei Huang.
My research studies continuous-time dynamical systems through the lens of causality, focusing on those governed by ordinary and stochastic differential equations (ODEs and SDEs). I develop identifiability and asymptotic theory for such systems, moving from the observational space in earlier work to the latent space, where dynamics are observed only through an unknown nonlinear mixing. Current directions include causal representation learning for latent ODE and SDE models, and causal world models that recover physical mechanisms from video.
